Lyle Denniston over at SCOTUSblog advises that the State of Texas’ appeal of the DC panel’s redistricting decision has not been relisted for consideration by the Justices at this Friday’s case screening conference.
It is unclear exactly what that means, but some speculation is that the case may be on hold until after the court hears challenges to the constitutionality of section 5 of the Voting Rights Act in Shelby Co. v. Holder.
