The field keeps growing.
The NAACP, Texas Black Legislative Caucus, and Congresswomen Sheila Jackson Lee and Eddie Bernice Johnson have moved to intervene in the consolidated redistricting litigation currently pending in San Antonio.
All of the cases raise claims about the state’s new congressional redistricting plan. The NAACP and TBLC also are challenging the state’s new state house and state senate maps, arguing that additional minority districts could be created.
